Vanilla Blueberry Collagen Waffles
Add some flavor and protein to your breakfast (or dinner, we aren’t judging) with these vanilla blueberry collagen waffles!
Adapted from Flavors & Sabors
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 and 1/3 cups non-fat milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 and 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 and 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 and 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 scoops Gym & Tonic Collagen Protein
- 1/2 to 1 cup of blueberries (preferably fresh)
Instructions:
- Preheat waffle iron
- In a medium bowl (preferably metal) beat the eggs until light and fluffy (you want lots of air in your mixture)
- Add the milk and vanilla and mix until well blended
- Mix in the baking powder, sugar, salt, flour, and Gym & Tonic Collagen Protein until well-mixed but not completely smooth (don’t lose all of the air in your mixture)
- Gently stir in the melted butter without overmixing
- Ladle about 1/2 cup of the batter into the waffle iron and bake following your waffle iron’s instructions
- Serve with your favorite waffle toppings
