Healthy Collagen Veggie Dip

 

When spring and summer roll around and fresh vegetables are in season, it’s time to celebrate! Now is the time to get as much out of your veggies as you can and eat them raw rather than cooking them whenever possible (that way you get more nutrients!). But, okay, even I have to admit that it’s not always fun to eat raw broccoli plain. I have a solution: dip! Dip fixes just about everything and you can get even more out of your vegetable snacks by pairing them with this collagen-packed, healthy veggie dip!

This veggie dip is light, easy to make, and delicious. It may not be loaded with sodium and fat but it has lots of bright flavor that pairs perfectly with fresh vegetables of every kind. I love it with the classics like broccoli and carrots but it is also delicious paired with sliced red bell pepper! The lemon in this dip is tangy while the Worcestershire sauce gives the dip depth. And, seriously, this dip is so easy. You probably have most of the ingredients in your kitchen right now and the recipe only has 2 steps and the second one is basically to eat it. Makes about 1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 scoops Traditional Tonic Nourishing Collagen
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh chopped green onion

Directions:

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl until well-mixed
  2. Chill and serve
