Healthier Rice Pudding with Collagen

This recipe gives you the creamy and delicious flavor of rice pudding without all of the fat of the milk and sugar. It uses brown rice and almond milk to make for a slightly healthier alternative. It also contains Traditional Tonic Nourishing Collagen with 18 amino acids to support your gut, joints, skin, nails, and hair. Top this rice pudding with almonds, cinnamon, raisins, or fresh fruit for a fun twist.
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked brown rice
1 cup almond milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 Tbsp. butter
2 scoops Traditional Tonic Nourishing Collagen
Cinnamon (for topping)
Directions:
- In a saucepan over high heat, combine almond milk, rice, syrup, and Traditional Tonic and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
- Remove from heat and stir in the butter, then let sit to thicken and cool.
- Serve with cinnamon or any of your favorite toppings.
