Collagen-Infused Peanut Butter Dessert Hummus
Have you heart of dessert hummus? I was in the store a while ago and I came across brownie batter hummus in the produce section and, for a second, I was totally thrown for a loop. Sweet hummus sounds strange when you’re used to garlicy, savory hummus experiences. But, in reality, chickpeas are an incredibly versatile food. Their flavor is mild enough that they can take on whatever flavor you want them to, so why not sweet? In fact, chickpeas are a great way to make healthy brownies so brownie hummus or other dessert hummus makes sense! You don’t need to run out and buy the store bought, expensive version though. You can make delicious Peanut Butter Dessert Hummus at home that tastes like a peanut butter cookie.
This peanut butter dessert hummus is the perfect foray into sweet hummus because it is rich and a little salty so it isn’t a complete deviation from the hummus you’re used to but it is a healthy snack you can put on just about anything. Because this recipe is sweetened with dates, it is totally guilt free. Our hummus is even better than others because it’s infused with Traditional Tonic Nourishing Collagen, a collagen supplement that can help give you stronger hair, skin, and nails as well as improving gut and joint health! Talk about a super food snack.
As unusual as this recipe might seem at first, it is actually extremely easy to make. Just prep some ingredients and then blend them up in a food processor and you’ll have a delicious spread. We suggest putting this dessert hummus on apple slices but eating it by the spoonful works just as well and, trust us, you’ll be tempted.
