Collagen Green Smoothie with Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is one of the trendiest current diet hacks with celebrities encouraging followers to take a shot of apple cider vinegar every morning. There are, of course, some benefits to consuming apple cider vinegar but, for most of us, taking a shot of the stuff is a little hard core considering how strong the vinegar flavor can be. Not only that, but drinking this acidic vinegar straight can erode your tooth enamel and irritate your throat and stomach. Solution? Instead of drinking it straight, add apple cider vinegar to your morning smoothie! You’ll reap the benefits without suffering through drinking it straight.
This green smoothie is great because the kale, fruit, avocado, ACV, and collagen combine to create a super-powered start to your day. 1/2 medium apple
1/2 medium pear
1 medium cucumber
3/4 cup chopped kale
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 scoop Traditional Tonic Nourishing Collagen
- Chop ingredients, add all to a blender, and blend until it reaches your desired consistency. Add water as needed to thin the consistency.
